Understanding Your Insurance
Every Easihire rental comes with the essential insurance coverage you need to drive confidently.
However, please note:
- You are responsible for an excess amount in the event of accidental damage.
- This excess is temporarily held on your debit or credit card and released in full when the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
- We also offer excess reduction options on all vehicles for extra peace of mind. Full details can be found on our website or explained by our friendly staff when booking.
Picking Up Your Hire Car – A Smooth Start
When you arrive at an Easihire branch, we’ll get you on the road as quickly as possible — but a few quick checks will ensure your experience stays hassle-free.
What to Bring
Please make sure you have:
- 2 Proofs of Address
- Your Driving Licence (Card Licence)
- DVLA Check Code (if you don’t have this, we can help you retrieve it at the branch — just bring your NI number)
Vehicle Inspection
Before driving away, take a few minutes to check the vehicle with a member of our team.

If it’s lower, a £25 admin fee plus the cost of fuel will be charged to refill it.

Vehicle Check
