Queen Street Road Closure Wigan: Plan Ahead for Van & Car Hire.

Our Easihire Wigan branch has been notified of planned United Utilities Sewer works outside our depot on 56-58 Queen Street, Wigan. We’ve been advised this will start on the 4th of September for approximately 4 days.

Please don’t panic! We will still be open throughout, so any bookings will not be rescheduled. However, We have been informed this will close the Duel carriageway so please plan your routes accordingly. The work is being carried out outside 56-58 Queen Street to repair the sewers between 08:00am-16:00pm.

How will this effect me?

The work being carried out outside of 56-58 Queen Street will result in a road closure and a diversion. This may result in longer travel times than expected which we encourage customers to take into account- especially if you have a pickup time specified. Please do not park on the road in the meantime to make way for the works carried out.

So please be aware around this time to leave extra time for your journey and check your route. If you are delayed due to the road works, please contact us as soon as possible to allow for our staff to best accommodate for your delay.
